Knit this popular "feed bag" style purse in your favorite color to match your winter coat. We have revised this pattern to include the original size and a new shorter version. Either size is knit with circular needles in worsted weight wool yarn and then felted in the washing machine.

Yarn: Original size uses 760 yards of worsted weight wool yarn that will felt. The grey model was made with 4 skeins of Lamb's Pride Worsted (190 yds/100g skein). Smaller (shorter) bag uses 570 yards of worsted weight wool yarn. The light colored model took 3 skeins of Galway (210 yards/100g skein)

Needles: 24" long and 16" long circular needles, size 10.5US. Double point needles, size 10.5

Finished measurements of original size: Height 11" to button tab; width 11"
